An elegant pendant lamp from the 1970s–80s, created in cooperation between Lustry n.p. Kamenický Šenov and Osvětlovací sklo Valašské Meziříčí. The centerpiece is a large 30 cm glass globe with a unique relief pattern that creates the illusion of being encrusted with diamonds. The globe is mounted in a classic brass fixture, also used in other iconic pendant models from this era.
Historical background
During the socialist era, Kamenický Šenov and Valašské Meziříčí were the leading centers of Czechoslovak glass and lighting design. Their collaboration resulted in striking lighting objects that combined decorative artistry with technical excellence.
Style and use
