Terms and Conditions

  • We trade in used goods. Most of our collection comes from industrial, hotel, restaurant, and social facilities or from family estate sales. The products on offer therefore bear signs of use and show age-appropriate wear. All serious defects and flaws are noted in the description of the goods.
  • Although we only sell functional lamps and chandeliers, we cannot guarantee the security and safety of the electrical installation. If we offer multiple pieces from the same light fixture, the individual pieces may differ in shade, cord color, or type of switch. Sometimes the light fixtures are marked or described with the original registration number or have another similar cosmetic flaws. All light fixtures are a priori sold as decorations. The same applies to other electrical appliances on offer.
  • Due to the rich and diverse history of the furniture we offer, the descriptions cannot list all surface scratches and abrasions, minor defects in the upholstery, traces of surface rust, ordinary dirt, wear, abrasions, or uneven shades of paint or varnish, especially for multi-piece sets.
  • For objects of the nature of applied art and design and works of art, we strive for the most thorough description possible to the best of our knowledge. Nevertheless, we are not liable for any incorrect identification in the description, inaccurate dating, or misattribution of the work to a specific author or a certain style.
  • All natural products, taxidermized goods, and exhibits of a natural or biological nature are decades-old historical school supplies with a verifiable history and in no case come from illegitimate sources or from the looting of existing natural sites.
  • According to the Civil Code (§ 53 par. 7), you can withdraw from the purchase agreement within fourteen days without giving a reason. The returned goods must not be damaged and must be returned with the original sales packaging, including the packing material. The buyer pays the cost of returning the goods to the seller.

Protection of personal data

IDENTITY AND CONTACT DETAILS OF THE ADMINISTRATOR

  • The administrator of your personal data is a natural person.
  • Jakub Šmíd (hereinafter referred to as the “Administrator”).

LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

  • The legal basis for processing your personal data is your consent given to this controller in the sense of Article 6, paragraph 1, letter (a) Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (“the Regulation”).
  • There is no automatic individual decision by the Administrator within the meaning of Article 22 of the Regulation.

PERIOD OF STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA

  • The period for which your personal data will be stored by the administrator is 3 years, but no longer than the revocation of your consent to the processing of personal data (processing for this purpose).

OTHER RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA

  • Other recipients of your personal data will Česká pošta (delivery of consignments), or Zásilkovna or other contractual carriers listed in the Transport and Payment section of the iretro.cz e-shop.

DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS

  • Under the conditions set out in the Regulation, you have the right to request access to your personal data from the controller, the right to correct or delete your personal data or restrict their processing, the right to object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to the portability of your personal data.
  • You have the right at any time to withdraw the consent to the processing of your personal data given by the Administrator. However, this does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of your personal data prior to such withdrawal of consent. You can revoke your consent to the processing of personal data by email: info@iretro.cz.
  • If you believe that the processing of your personal data has violated or is violating the Regulation, you have, among other things, the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
  • You are not obliged to provide personal data. The provision of your personal data is not a legal or contractual requirement, nor is it necessary for concluding a contract.

These conditions are in effect as of April 1, 2021
